The drama is adapted from "Ki no Straw" (written by Ayano Nishiguchi from AQURAHOME (published by FUSOSHA)) which depicts a real story of developing and producing the first "wooden straw" in the world that has been used at all the G20 conferences including OSAKA SUMMIT 2019 and received "Minister's Prize of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of The 29th Global Environment Award", "Good Design Award" and many other awards.
